What to watch this week

My writing hero, Joss Whedon, has just launched his new Web-only project and, as the LA Times says, it's proven a "site-crashing success"

The whole point--other than to entertain us with more Joss goodness--is to try to reinvent the entertainment distribution model. Can good work be produced without major studio control and financing? Can non-studio projects make money on the Web?

Acts I through III will be released throughout this week for free. But after Sunday it will be gone and the only way to see it will be to buy it on iTunes or purchase the upcoming DVD.
