First batch of photos up from my Farewell to LA party

The first batch of photos are up on my Website:

http://www.ebanzai.com/view_gallery.jsp?gid=544

More photos will hopefully be coming out in the next day or two.

HOWEVER -- my server will soon be packed up and shipped out. That means my online photo gallery will be nonexistent for about a week.

THEREFORE -- I've uploaded the photos to Costco's photo center. You can view them all there and order prints if you like.

IF YOU ORDER PRINTS -- please follow these instructions:

- The images are already formatted for 4x6 or 8x12. I do not recommend 5x7 or 8x10. Most images will look excellent up to 8x12 print size.

- The images have been processed to look best with "Glossy" finish. They've also been specially processed for the Costco in Marina del Rey (yes, I'm that anal). You can print them at other Costcos, but they won't look quite as good.

- The images have a small white matting border already in the image. If prompted, select "no border" because I've already taken care of it in the image itself.

- VERY IMPORTANT - at checkout look at the blue "Options" box and click "edit options". Be sure to check the "Do not AutoCorrect my prints." I've already tweaked each photo in Photoshop; we don't want the lab's computer doing its own thing and making them look bad. Again: make sure that box is checked.

Women's beach v-ball bikinis are totally unnecessarily small, but, frankly that's also part of what makes it one of the best sports on the planet. The games are exciting, the rallies are spectacular, the athleticism is amazing, and--in general--the women are tanned goddesses wearing next to nothing.

And with so many elite-level women's v-ball players coming out of the SoCal beach culture, you just know that an inordinante proportion of them will be gorgeous as well as fit. It's just not fair, really. Rachel Wacholder, you blow my mind.

That all being said, the Iraqi women's team's uniform wasn't really any less alluring. Showing lots of skin is assumed to be sexy, but we shouldn't underestimate the power of skin-tight spandex. Honestly I think Misty May would look sexier in a full-coverate, skin-tight spandex mini-short.

Maybe they should try to handicap the Olympic champions by making May and Walsh play in constricting full-coverage burkas. Eh, they'd still crush the Qataris.
